Robert M. "Bobby" Bowyer, 64, widower of Courtney Frankfort Bowyer, passed away August 15, 2009 in Stuart, Fl. He was born February 18, 1945 in Savannah, Ga., a son of the late Harry L. and Ruth Richards Bowyer. Bobby was the former owner of Bowyer Motors in Savannah.
Survivors include three daughters, Elizabeth Bowyer of New York City, Leslie B. Clarke and husband, Christian, of Indianapolis, In, and Whitney E. Harris, of Ormond Beach, Fl; three grandchildren, Abby and Kendall Clarke and Collin Harris; and his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Phillip and Rae Frankfort of Franklin.
A burial service was held Sunday, September 6, 2009 at Poplar Spring Cemetery, Franklin.
