Franklin – Robert Richard "Bob" Blackney, 78, passed away November 28, 2014. A native and longtime resident of Philadelphia, PA, he was a son of Edwin and Margaret Blackney. He was also predeceased by a sister, Grace; and a brother, Edwin, Jr. Bob was a retired wireman and Air Force veteran of the Korean War. He was a member of Franklin Masonic Lodge # 151AF&AM. His hobbies were fishing and hunting, and he was a Baptist.

Cherishing his memory is his wife of 46 plus years, Theresa A. Blackney; one daughter, Beth Anne Young; one son, Robert R. "Corky" Blackney, Jr.; two brothers, Russell and Harry Blackney; three grandchildren; one great-grandchild and cousins.

A funeral service with Masonic Rites will be held at 3 PM Wednesday, December 3, 2014 at Wright Funeral Home, Franklin. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to a favorite charity. www.wrightfuneralhome.org.
