Suffolk – Richard Felix "Whitey" White, 56, died February 29, 2008. Born in Patterson, New Jersey, he was a Navy veteran of Viet Nam and a mechanic with B & G Auto.
Survivors include his wife, Carroll Ann Cavin White; his mother, Catherine White of New Jersey; two daughters, Brandi White of Florida, and Kathy White of Hampton; two sons, Kevin White and Chris White, both of Hampton; four sisters, Felice Sedora, Caren White, Catherine White, Theresa White; and four brothers, James, Kevin, David and Joseph White. Whitey was predeceased by his father, Joseph White.
A graveside service will be conducted at 1 pm Monday at the Albert G. Horton, Jr. Memorial Veterans Cemetery in Suffolk. Wright Funeral Home, Franklin, has charge of arrangements. www.wrightfuneralhome.org
