Richard Eugene Huntington

Suffolk, VA – Lt. Col. Richard Eugene Huntington (USAF Retired), 76, passed away September 27, 2026 in Harmony at Harbour View.  Born in Bloomsburg, Pennsylvania, he was a son of the late Howard and Loretta Huntington and was also predeceased by twin brothers, Bob and Ray Huntington.

Richard received a Bachelor’s Degree from Bloomsburg University and was a retired Air Force Pilot with 28 years of service.

Left to cherish his memory is his wife of 36 years, Cherie Sue Huntington of Suffolk, and one niece, Becky Heddings of Danville, PA.

Burial will be private at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery in Pennsylvania.
