Franklin – Reece Allison Allsbrook, Jr., 61, died August 17, 2010 at his son's residence. He was born in Suffolk, the son of the late Reece Allison and Lois Hill Allsbrook Flanagan. He was a U. S. Army veteran and a house painter.
Survivors include two daughters, Nicole H. Raiford (Steven) of Zuni and Sharon Irene Allsbrook of Beaufort, NC; three sons, Gerald T. "Jerry" Halsey (Sarah) of Harker's Island, NC, Reece A. Allsbrook, III (Millie), and John Thomas Allsbrook all of Franklin; two grandchildren, Samantha Lee Halsey and Nicole Allison Allsbrook; two sisters, Linda F. Pierce (Steve) of Colerain and Barbara Jean Williams (Manuel) of New Bern, NC; and his dog, "Ranger".
A memorial service will be conducted at 2 pm Friday at Wright Funeral Home with Rev. Susan Reaves officiating.
