Courtland – Rebecca Marie Belter, 39, passed away October 1, 2017 at Sentara Obici Hospital. Rebecca was born in Islip, NY and was reared in Hopewell. She was a graduate of Hopewell High School and Longwood University. She was a former teacher and a former restaurant manager.

Left to cherish her memory is her mother Lydia Perez, her father Lino Rivera, two daughters, Isabella Belter and Alexandra Belter, one son Cameron Belter, two sisters, Dawn Quicke and Cynthia Rivera, three brothers, Lino Rivera, Jr., Michael Rivera and David Rivera, her fiancé Derek Foster and aunts, uncles and cousins.

A gathering of family and friends will be held Friday October 6, 2017 from 2 to 4PM at Wright Funeral Home in Franklin.
