Carrsville –Harold Ray Thomas, 78, passed away May 20, 2021 in his home with his wife by his side.  Born in Rose Hill and raised in Windsor, he was the son of the late George Curtis Thomas and Lila Wolfe Thomas.  Ray was also predeceased by a sister, Wilma Foster.

Ray was a 1960 graduate of Windsor High School and retired from the Roll Finishing Dept. at International Paper with 40 years of service.  He was a member of Carrsville Hunt Club.

Left to cherish his memory is his wife of 56 years, Mary Inge "Bobbi" Thomas; his son, Steven Wayne Thomas and his wife Amy of Franklin; and two grandchildren, Cody and Ansley Thomas.

A Funeral Service will be held at 3PM Sunday, May 23, 2021 in Wright Funeral Home with Rev. Dr. Lou Ventura officiating.  Burial will follow in Southampton Memorial Park.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service in the funeral home and suggests that memorial donations be made to Franklin Presbyterian Church or any favorite charity.
