Branchville- Randy Paige Cobb, 52, a wonderful and loving husband, father and friend, passed away peacefully at Southampton Memorial Hospital on September 30, 2009. Born in Franklin, he was the son of the late C. D. and Thelma Cobb and his career and his passion was farming. Randy loved to hunt and fish and enjoy the outdoors. He was a member of Persons United Methodist Church.
Left to cherish his memory is his wife of 24 years, Elizabeth Milteer Cobb; daughter, Paige Cobb: son, Camden Cobb and wife, Amber; sister, Robin C. Meyer of Richmond; nieces and nephews, Bruce, Jane and Ellen Meyer, Brittany Gurganus, Brendan Milteer, Mecalah Bryant and Jazmine Jones.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday in Wright Funeral Home, Franklin, with Rev. Michael Baugham officiating. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Friday at the funeral home and suggests memorials be made in Randy's name to the Children's Center, 700 Campbell St., Franklin, VA 23851.
