Zuni, VA – Polly Duck Redd, widow of Charles Leonard Redd, Sr., passed away April 18, 2022 in her home surrounded by her family. She was a lifelong resident of Isle of Wight County, one of nine children of the late Alphonso Lee Duck and Polly Mae Carr Duck.

Left to cherish her memory is one daughter, Brenda Gail Redd and Steve, two sons, Charles L. Redd, Jr. and his wife Jackie and Gary A. Redd and his wife Lori, four grandchildren, Allison Holt and her husband Jamie, Jodi and her husband Drew, Ashley Kennedy and her husband Mark, and Amanda Fowler and her husband Jason, eight greatgrandchildren, Ethan and Caroline Holt, Madalyn and Riley Holt, Kayla and Ava Kennedy and Savannah and Jacob Fowler and many nieces and nephews.

A graveside funeral will be held at 11AM Thursday, April 21, 2022 at MT. Carmel Cemetery in Walters. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 6 to 8PM in Wright Funeral Home, Franklin and suggests memorial donations be made to the MT. Carmel Cemetery Fund c/o Pam Vaughan, 27836 Walters Hwy., Walters, VA 23315.

The family would like to thank Polly's caregivers, Thelma Myrick, Margaret Walden, Vernell Carr, Marie White and Lee Ann Whitfield for their loving care.
