Courtland – Phyllis Leigh Myers Bankston, 75, passed away May 29, 2025 in her home.  Born in Norfolk, VA, she was the daughter of the late Richard and Lucille Atkins Myers.  She was also predeceased by her husband, Edward Bankston, two sons, Ronald L. "Bubba" Lake and Richard Joseph Lake, and a daughter, Lori Miller.

Phyllis was a retired cashier at Walmart.

Left to cherish her memory is a daughter, Denise Lake.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
