Carrsville – Philip Ray Rose, 73, passed away December 18, 2025 in Nans Pointe Rehabilitation and Nursing.  Born in Franklin and raised in Carrsville, he was a son of the late William Henry Rose and Beunie Virginia "Beunie V" Carr.

Philip was a graduate of Windsor High School and attended Elon College.  He was a farmer, a member of Colosse Baptist Church, and a member of the Carrsville Volunteer Fire Department.

Left to cherish his memory is his daughter, Sherry Rose Mintz (Johnny) of Carrsville; his son, William Brent Rose (Shannon) of Carrsville; a brother, Danny Rose of Chesapeake; and three grandchildren, Jacob Mintz (Tori), Bryce Mintz, and Avery Rose.

Services will be private.  In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Carrsville Volunteer Fire Department.
