Franklin – Peggy Cash Pearce, 75, widow of Charles G. Pearce passed away May 27, 2018 in Sentara Hospice House in Virginia Beach. Mrs. Pearce was born in Franklin County, North Carolina, the only child of the late James Frederick and Nina Pierce Cash.

Mrs. Pearce attended Franklin Baptist Church and was a member of Oak Level Christian Church in Youngsville, NC. She was a graduate of East Carolina University and was a First Grade Teacher in the Franklin Public School System for 33 years.

Left to cherish her memory is one son Christopher Charles Pearce and his wife Beth Ann, three grandchildren, Sarah, Emily and Kyle Pearce all of Suffolk.

A funeral will be conducted at 2 PM Thursday, May 31, 2018 in Wright Funeral Home with Rev. Steve Gibson officiating. The family will receive friends following the service in the funeral home. The burial will be at 11 AM Friday, June 1, 2018 at Oak Level Christian Church Cemetery, Youngsville, NC.
