Peggy Driver Jarratt, 71, passed away Thursday, September 20, 2012 at Sentara Obici Hospital. Peggy was the daughter of the late John Gilbert and Nell Crumpler Driver and was predeceased by a brother, John Gilbert Driver, Jr. She is survived by her husband of 48 years, Jesse "Pete" Jarratt; two sons, Lloyd Lee "Peppy" Jarratt (Tammy), and Michael Lee Jarratt (Gail); two brothers, Clarence "Dick" Driver (Linda) and Francis Edward Driver; six grandchildren, Amber, Jessica, Jorden, Jason, Denise, and Michael and 7 great-grandchildren. Peggy was retired from SW Rawls. She enjoyed painting, needlework and doing yoga at the YMCA.
A graveside service will be held at 3 PM Sunday, September 23, 2012 in Riverside Cemetery, Courtland, with the Rev. Randy Wright, officiating. The family will receive friends from 7-9 PM, Saturday (today), September 22, 2012 at Wright Funeral Home, and suggest that memorial donations be made to Franklin Rescue Squad, P.O.
