Drewryville – Paula Cobb Day, 61, went home to be with the Lord on December 10, 2021. Born on July 15, 1960 in Franklin, she was a graduate of Southampton Academy and Meredith College and received her Master's Degree from East Carolina University.

Paula was a Vocational Expert with the Social Security Department and a member of Courtland Baptist Church.  She enjoyed watching Elevation Church on television, had a green thumb, and loved growing flowers.

Left to cherish her memory is her mother, Shelva Lee Cobb; her daughter, Alexa Lee Newell (Alexei); her son, Weldon "Nic" Booher (Christopher); two brothers, Lex Cobb and Joey Cobb (Katie); a grandson, Alexander "Xander" Newell; a niece, Mary Katherine Cobb; and five nephews, Tucker, Cullen, Zachary, Alex and Noah Cobb.  Paula is predeceased by her father, Paul Alexander Cobb.

Services will be private and the family suggests any memorial donations be made to the American Cancer Society or any favorite charity.
