Franklin - Paul Lee Butler, 61, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Sunday, March 20, 2022, at his home after a brief battle with cancer.  He was born August 28, 1959, the son of William Robert "Bobby" Butler Jr. and Betty Jo Shufflebarger Butler.  He graduated in 1976 from Franklin High School.  Paul became a truck driver at the age of 18 and drove for 44 years, last working for C A Perry and Son Transit at the time of his death.

Paul enjoyed riding his motorcycle and entertaining anyone who would listen with his music and endless jokes. He was preceeded in death by his parents, Bobby and Betty Butler, and his brother Dennis.  Paul is survived by his partner, Roxann Ratigan, stepdaughters Brittney Ireland (Jacob) and Mary-Rae Goad (Drew) and his fur baby Roscoe.

A Celebration of Life will be held from 1 to 3PM Saturday, May 14, 2022 at the Walter's Ruritan Club.
