Franklin – Patricia Duck "Patsy" Reeves, 78, passed away November 6, 2021 in Southern Virginia Regional Medical Center.   Born in Newport News and brought up in Suffolk, she was a daughter of the late Irvin Daughtrey Duck and Etta Mae Wright Duck.  She was also predeceased by her daughter, Kathy R. Sumpter.

Patsy was a graduate of Suffolk High School and was a nurse.

Left to cherish her memory is her husband, William Emmette Reeves;a sister, Nancy Christine Moon (Sam) of Franklin; and two nieces, Robin E. Davis and Nancy L. Duck (Stephen).

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 3PM Saturday, November 20, 2021 in South Quay Baptist Church with Pastor Richard Baird officiating.  The family will receive friends from 11 to 12:30PM Thursday, November 11, 2021 in Wright Funeral Home and suggests that in lieu of flowers, memorial donations be made to the Parkinson's Association, 4560 Princess Ann Blvd., Virginia Beach, VA 23462 or the MS Focus Foundation, 6520 N. Andrews Ave., Ft. Lauderdale, FL  33309-2132.
