Patricia Jane LeBlanc

Franklin – Patricia Jane Stupka LeBlanc, 94, passed away peacefully on Saturday, September 19, 2026, surrounded by the love of her family.

Patricia was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and friend whose greatest joy was her family. She was a woman of deep faith who found comfort and strength in her Catholic faith throughout her life. She was a longtime member of St. Jude’s Catholic Church in Franklin, Virginia, where her family has shared many important moments over the years.

Born in Chicago, Illinois, she was the daughter of the late Jerry and Catherine F. Carmody Stupka and was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 39 years, Wilmer James LeBlanc, with whom she built a loving family and shared a lifetime of memories.

Pat received a Bachelor’s Degree from Quincy College in Quincy, IL, and a Master’s Degree from Loyola University in Chicago, IL, and Old Dominion University. She was a retired Director of Smithfield Center and Instructor of Reading at Paul D. Camp Community College with 25 years of service. Prior to this Pat was an Elementary Teacher in Cicero, IL and an instructor at the Children’s Rehab in Charlottesville, VA. She was a member of Kiwanis and Delta Kappa Gamma.

She is survived by her daughter, Monique LeBlanc; her two sons, James LeBlanc and his wife, Kelly LeBlanc, and Jerry LeBlanc and his wife, Michelle LeBlanc; and her grandchildren, Nicholas LeBlanc and his wife, Megan, Ellese LeBlanc, Avery LeBlanc, and Levi LeBlanc.

Patricia will be remembered most for her love of her family, her faith, and the home and family she devoted her life to. She leaves behind a legacy of love that will continue through her children, grandchildren, and the many memories they will carry with them.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, October 3, 2026, at St. Jude’s Catholic Church in Franklin, Virginia, with the Rev. Father Emmanuel Mensah officiating. Burial will follow at Southampton Memorial Park.
