Patricia G. Hobbs

Franklin – Patricia Gillette Hobbs, 57, passed away March 7, 2007. Born in Richmond, she was a daughter of the late Norman Raiford "Popcorn" Gillette and Frances Ayers Gillette. Patricia was a graduate of Montreat Anderson College and was a retired Administrative Assistant for the Juvenile and Domestic Relations Court. She was a member of PACC, Partners Among Cats and Canines, and the Jerusalem Chapter of the United Daughters of the Confederacy. She was a member of Franklin Presbyterian Church and was the treasurer of the Presbyterian Women.
Left to cherish her memory are two daughters, Kaci Keech and husband, Travis, of Sedley and Holly Hobbs and fiancée, Allen Shen, of Atlanta; one sister, Terry G. Rose and her husband, Jimmie, of Franklin; a granddaughter, Loren Emma Keech ; special friends, Ann and Fred Jones of Franklin and six very special feline companions .
A memorial service to celebrate Patricia's life will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. at Franklin Presbyterian Church with the Rev. Edward L. Boyce officiating. The family will receive friends today at Wright Funeral Home from 7 to 8:30 p.m. and suggests memorials be made to the American Kidney Foundation, 6110 Executive Blvd., Suite 1010, Rockville, MD 20852 or PACC, P.O. Box 1133, Franklin, VA 23851.
