Franklin- Patricia Dixon "Pat" Ellis, 71, passed away October 18, 2016 at Southampton Memorial Hospital. Pat was born in Newport News, a daughter of the late Beril William and Yvonne Moose Smith and was predeceased by her husband, Charles Daniel "Dani" Ellis and a brother, Beril W. Smith, Jr.

She was a member of West Suffolk Baptist Church and was a retired Quality Control Technician at Union Camp.

Survivors include two children, Tina D. Neal of Franklin and Herbert T. Dixon, Jr (Vanessa) of Franklinton, NC, two stepchildren, Christopher D. Ellis and Colleen E. Dover (Casey) all of Stem, NC, one sister, Katie S. Faulk of Wilmington, NC, one brother, Ernest Smith (Vivian) of Yorktown, sister-in-law, Brenda Smith of New Kent, six grandchildren, Charles A. Nahrebecki (Rebecca), Bobbi Neal Rybolt (Trent), Tyler, Evan and Madison Dixon and Parker E. Dover, three great grandchildren, Anthony and Austin Nahrebecki and Nikolai Rybolt.

A funeral will conducted at 3PM Sunday, October 23, 2016 in Wright Funeral Home with Pastor Ben Scofield officiating. Burial will follow at Southampton Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service and suggests that memorials be made to West Suffolk Baptist Church, 1001 Kenyon Ct., Suffolk, VA 23434. www.wrightfuneralhome.org
