Courtland – Patricia Parrish "Pat" Bryant, 82, passed away August 29, 2020 at her home surrounded by family. She was born in Roanoke Rapids, NC and was the daughter of the late Vernon Samuel Parrish and Alice Kinker Parrish. Pat was also predeceased by a brother Sandy Parrish.

Pat was a graduate of Roanoke Rapids High School, a former Sunday School teacher, WMU President and choir member at Courtland Baptist Church and was retired from Belk after 25 plus years as assistant office manager.

She is survived by her husband of 60 years Basil North Bryant, two daughters, Sherri B. Lupton (Roy) and Joy B. Carr, one son Christopher Lee "Chris" Bryant (Louis "Skip" Cole), one sister Elizabeth Barrett , 8 grandchildren, Allie Himler ( Robert), Kelly Bryant, Timothy Bryant , Hailey Bryant, Daniel Lupton (Jet), Ryan Lupton (Samantha), Rebecca Lupton (Jared) and Jessica Carr (Tyler) and 4 great grandchildren, brother in law Bahnson Bryant (Pearl Dean), sister in law Laneau Harrington (Robert) and dear friends J.W. and Shelby Coggsdale and nieces and nephews.

A Graveside Service will be held at 2 PM Tuesday September 1, 2020 at Southampton Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Monday from 6 to 7:30 PM at Wright Funeral Home
