Otelia B. Story

Boykins – Otelia Blythe Story, 89, widow of Elvin Jefferson Story, passed away March 14, 2007. Born in Southampton County, she was the daughter of the late Lonnie and Eliza Screws Blythe and was retired from Aster Nut Company. She was a member of Boykins United Methodist Church.
Left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Rose Marie Mills and husband, Jerry, of Ashville, NC; two sons, Howard Varner Story and wife, Sandra, of Courtland and Robert Ross Story and wife, Vickie, of Franklin; eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by a son, James Elliott Story.
The funeral will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday in Boykins United Methodist Church. Interment will follow in Beechwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends from
7 to 8:30 p.m. Friday at Wright Funeral Home, Boykins Chapel, and suggests memorials be made to Boykins UMC, 32167 S. Main St., Boykins, VA 23827.
