Newsoms - Odell Bailey Worrell, 99, widow of James Milton Worrell, Sr. passed away January 20, 2018 in the East Pavilion. A native of Como, NC she was one of eleven children of the late Frank Columbus Bailey and Annie Harcum Bailey and was also predeceased by a grandson Charles Nathaniel "Kirk" Kirkland, Jr., seven brothers, Clifton, Harvey, Ollie, Rob, Waverly, Harcum and Howard Bailey and three sisters, Pearl Holland, Emily Zimmerman and Mae Jenkins.

Left to cherish her memory is one daughter Vivian W. Kirkland (Charles) of Mt. Olive, NC, one son James Milton Worrell, Jr. (Sharlynn) of Newsoms, four grandchildren, Alton Dale Kirkland, Lynne Kirkland Smith, Jennifer Worrell Tunnell and John Michael Kirkland and ten great grandchildren.

A graveside funeral will be held at 12 noon Monday January 22, 2018 in Hollywood Cemetery, Newsoms with Pastor Mary Alice Colwell officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at Wright Funeral Home, Franklin and suggests that memorial donations be made to Newsoms United Methodist Church. www.wrightfuneralhome.org
