Franklin- Nina Buck Drewry, 82, went to walk with the angels on July 4 ^th 2020. Born in Hobgood, NC, she was a daughter of the late Fred and Allie Buck. She was a graduate of Franklin High School, class of 1955 a member of Beaver Dam Baptist Church.

Nina was predeceased by her twin brother Fred Buck Jr., brother Daniel Buck, as well as a grandson Ben Hutt, and great grandson Nathan Brady Wolfe.

Left to cherish her memory is her sister Nikki Slocum; a son Michael Drewry, Sr. (Machelle) and their children Michael Drewry, Jr. (Alexadra), Shannon, Gracie, and Daniel; a daughter Michelle Drake and her children Ryan Wolfe (Melissa) and Katlyn Drake (Jacob); a daughter Amanda Hutt (Kevin) and their children Skylar Cutchins (Tim) and Blake Hutt.

Nina's greatest passion in life was her family. Like her mother, she loved animals.  She especially loved her sister's dogs Thelma, Louise, Dexter and Maggie-May. Her smile and laugh were contagious; you couldn't help but smile in her presence. She will forever be missed.

The family is holding a private service. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Isle of Wight Animal Shelter.
