Courtland – Thomas Neal Marks, 55, passed away February 1, 2018 at Southampton Memorial Hospital. Neal was a lifelong resident of Southampton County and was a son of the late James Franklin Marks and Betty Turner Marks.

Neal was a 1982 graduate of Southampton Academy, a member of Sebrell United Methodist Church and a retired hunting guide.

Left to cherish his memory is his wife of 22 years Kim Wade Marks, two daughters, Jordan Leigh Marks and Mariah Faith Marks, two sisters, Phyllis Barham (Tommy) of Capron and Wanda Brady of Georgia, a brother Dwayne Franklin Marks of Sebrell and several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at 11 AM Saturday, February 3, 2018 in Franklin Congregational Christian Church with Rev. James H. Hyatt, Jr. officiating. A reception will follow the service in the church fellowship hall. Burial will be private.
