Windsor – Nannie McClenny Heath, 88, died February 10, 2008. She was born in Nansemond County, a daughter of the late Hugh Cephus and Rosa Harrell McClenny and was predeceased by three sisters, Grace Turner, Mary McClenny, Ella Turner, and two brothers, Romie and Bud McClenny. Mrs. Heath was a member of Western Branch Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband of 67 years, Ivan Donald Heath; three daughters, Louise H. Brinkley and husband, Floyd, Evelyn H. Holland and husband, Sammy, all of Suffolk, Linda H. Edwards and husband, Gray, of Franklin; one sister, Katherine M. Lofton; six grandchildren, Janet Lynn Cortez of Sioux Falls, SD, David Scott Brinkley and wife, Jeannie, Christopher Jay Brinkley and wife, Christie, all of Suffolk, Tammy Hodge and husband, Steve, of Wilson, NC, Kelly Chaney and husband David, Jamie Landry and husband, Aaron, all of Suffolk; twelve great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
A funeral will be conducted Wednesday at 2 p. m. at Wright Funeral Home, Franklin, with the Rev. Steve Hills officiating. Burial will follow in the Holland Cemetery.
