Courtland – Nancy Bailey Turner, 75, passed away August 9, 2023, in Sentara Obici Hospital.  Born in Norfolk and raised in Franklin, she was the daughter of the late Forrest Watson and Ethel Hobbs Watson.  She was also predeceased by her first husband, Kenneth Bailey, and her brother, Arthur Thomas Hobbs.

Nancy was a 1966 graduate of Windsor High School.

Left to cherish her memory is her husband of 42 years, Meredith Aubrey Turner, Jr., her son, Brian Kenneth Bailey and his wife Mandy, and a grandson, Ryne Wilson Bailey.

A Memorial Service will be held at 3PM Sunday, August 13, 2023 in Wright Funeral Home with Rev. Jim Foreman officiating.  The family suggests that memorial donations be made to the American Heart Association.
