Franklin – Nancy Saunders Hall, 73, passed away December 22, 2017 in her home surrounded by her family. Nancy was a native of Southampton County and was a daughter of the late William Allen Saunders and Otelia Gay Saunders. She was also predeceased by a son Andrew Dean Harrell, a grandson Andrew Dean Harrell, Jr., four sisters, Mary Munford, Becky Hedgepeth, Willie Clark and Frances Edwards and two brothers, A.J. and Johnnie Saunders.

Survivors include her husband of 34 years William B. "Billy" Hall, two daughters, Darlene Smithwick (Jerry), Donna Sykes (Stanley), two sisters, Charlotte Woodie and Brenda Marshall, four grandchildren, Ronnie Smithwick (Emilie), Bridget Sykes (Philip Parr), Dustin Sykes and Breanne Harrell (Ronald), four great grandchildren, Payton, Kaylee and Tenley Smithwick and Colton Wade and a host of nieces and nephews.

Nancy was a member of Tucker Swamp Baptist Church and was recently attending Elevate Church. She was the former owner of Nancy's Hair Flair and worked for her daughter at Donna's Hair Flair the last eighteen years.

A memorial service will be held at 11 AM Friday December 29, 2017 in Wright Funeral Home with Pastors Thomas Steele Carr and Randy Bryant officiating.
