Franklin – Nancy Jarvis Falcone, 71, died January 28, 2010. She was born in Eden, NC, a daughter of the late Roy and Caroline Jarvis. Nancy was a longtime nurse at the East Pavilion and after retiring, she worked at Holiday Food Store as a cook. She loved her jobs and all of her family.
Nancy was the mother of nine, grandmother of twenty-five and great-grandmother of thirty-five. When the children were growing up, her favorite saying was "You are deliberately disobeying me" and would probably say it again because she did not want a service. Nancy was sick for several years and Anne and Ray took care of her in North Carolina. Her final wishes were to be home with her children at her side, and they were. She also said, "Life is for the living, so go live it". She was very much loved and will be truly missed by all.
Left to cherish her memory are her children, George, Ray, David, Mark, Annette, Andrea, Anne, Adam, and Andrew.
A memorial service will be conducted at 11 am Friday in the chapel of Wright Funeral Home with the Rev. Father Charles Saglio officiating. www.wrightfuneralhome.org
