Courtland- Nancy Davis Brock, 67, passed away January 29, 2022.  Nancy was a lifelong resident of Southampton County and was a daughter of the late William Richard and Lucy Whitehead Davis.

She was 1973 graduate of Southampton High School and was a member of Courtland Baptist Church.  Nancy was a former Assistant Manager of the Peanut Patch and was a former employee of Futrell's Pharmacy.

Nancy always had a positive outlook on life, and was always cheerful and loved people. She had been a Mistress of Ceremonies for many weddings and was known for her decorating.  Nancy and Edward enjoyed the beach life at the Outer Banks and also enjoyed the lake life at Lake Gaston.

Left to cherish her memory is her husband of 45 years, Edward L. Brock, two sons, Kendall L. Brock (Emily) and Jason W. Brock (Hillary), one sister, Virginia D. "Ginger" Lacasse, one brother, William R. "Bill" Davis Jr. (Margie), three grandchildren, Drake Brock, Tanner Brock, and Kori Lynn Brock, and a host cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.

A Funeral Service will be held at 2PM, Tuesday February 1, 2022, in Courtland Baptist Church with Dr. John Paul Lotz officiating. The Burial will follow at Southampton Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8PM, Monday in Wright Funeral Home and suggests that memorial donations be made to the Newsoms Ruritan Club.
