Courtland – Monet Dale Gay, 65, passed away October 27, 2021in VCU Hospital.   Born in California on August 14, 1956, she was the daughter of the late Paul Elmo Wood and Bertha Gertrude Marsh Wood.  She was also predeceased by two sons, Jason Douglas Stiller and Ronald Lee Gay Jr. and two brothers, George William and Ernest Allen Wood.

Monet was a graduate of Tidewater Community College, a US Air Force veteran and a homemaker.

Left to cherish her memory are her husband, Ronald Lee Gay, Sr.; two daughters, Penny Leigh Raiford (Casey) and Jessica Stiller Dunkley (Scott); a son, Douglas Edward Stiller; and eight grandchildren, Carlie, Faith, Hannah, Ronald III, Ava, Elena, Kaley, and Jason.

A Graveside Service will be held at 2PM Saturday, November 6, 2021 in Holly Lawn Cemetery with Dr. Lawrence Randall officiating.  The family will receive friends from 5 to 7PM Friday, November 5 ^th in Wright Funeral Home and suggests that memorial donations be made to her husband, Ronald Gay, 22170 Southampton Parkway, Courtland, VA 23837.
