Boykins – Miriam Petersen Premaza, age 88, widow of Joseph Andrew Premaza, died January 21, 2016 at Southampton Memorial Hospital. She was a daughter of the late Alfred Emil Petersen and Edith Hitchen Petersen and was also predeceased by a daughter, Joyce Edith Premaza and a sister Eleanor P. Barr.

She was retired from Southampton Farm Supply, a member of Boykins United Methodist Church and a member of the GFWC Tarrara Woman's Club.

Left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Fran Edwards (Glenn) and Dorothy Hickman (Wilton), five grandchildren, Craig Hickman, Daryl Cox, Daniel Cox, Brian Cox, Ginger Barner, two great grandchildren, Douglas and Andrew Hickman.

A memorial service will be held at 11 AM Monday, January 25, 2016 at Boykins United Methodist Church. The family will receive friends Sunday from 6 to 8PM at Wright Funeral Home, Boykins and suggests that in lieu of flowers it was Mim's request that donations be made to your local food bank or to Franklin Cooperative Ministries, 511 N.
