Franklin – Milbry Joan Rawlings, devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, 89, of Yucca Valley, California, passed away peacefully on September 15, 2024.  Joan was born on November 30, 1934, to the late Thomas and Jessie Kelley.

Joan was passionate about caring for her family and enjoying the good times. She especially enjoyed spending time with her family camping in Desert Center. She instilled in us the values and trust it takes to be a family! Joan loved to read the Bible from cover to cover repeatedly as well as fine novels. She didn't have a favorite verse but loved them all! Joan was also a superstar playing Mario Brothers.

Along with her parents, Joan is preceded in death by her loving husband, Daryl Rawlings, and siblings Mayo, Thomas Raymond II, LaNoye Brand, Dwayne Kelley, Kenny Kelley, LaDonna Ohl, and Doug Kelley.

Joan is survived by her sibling sisters, Peggy, Karen and Becky; daughters, Peggy Taylor and family and Kelley Roback and family; and sons, Chris Rawlings and family and Patrick Rawlings and family. Joan has 12 loving grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.  We love you lots Grandma!
