Franklin – Michael Joseph "Mike" Magee, 62, passed away January 17, 2021 in Sentara Hospice House in Virginia Beach.  Born October 14, 1958 in Washington, DC, he was the son of the late John Joe Magee and Marian McCain Magee.

Mike was a 1976 graduate of Franklin High School and a bookkeeper for Sussex II State Prison.  He was a member of Franklin Baptist Church and a long-time Boy Scout Leader.

He loved working with computers and doing audio for Franklin Baptist Church which he did for over 40 years.

Left to cherish his memory is his sister Nancy Finfrock and her husband Rick of Chesapeake Beach, MD; a niece, Lindsay Dove and her husband Adam and their daughter Sawyer of Lothian, MD; and several cousins.

A Memorial Service will be held at 11AM Saturday, January 23, 2021 in Wright Funeral Home with Rev. Dr. Charles Qualls officiating.  Burial will be private.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service in the funeral home and suggests that memorial donations be made to Franklin Baptist Church or your favorite Boy Scout Troop.
