Courtland – Michael Dale "Mike" Woods, 60, passed away December 18, 2021 at Sentara Obici Hospital in Suffolk.  He was the son of the late Bobby Gene Woods and Sandra Jean Miller.

In his younger years, Mike wrestled with the WCW and the WWE Organizations and was known as "The Assassin" and "The Good Ole Boy Leroy McCoy".  He was a member of Sycamore Baptist Church and Courtland Rescue Volunteer Squad, serving as Chaplain for several years.

Mike is survived by his loving wife, Tammy Cannon-Woods; sisters, Erin Eddy (Rick) and Angela Miller; brothers, Bo Woods, Ronnie Miller, and Rudy Miller; an uncle, Kenneth Brown; his mother-in-law, Jean Cannon; a sister-in-law, Leslie Whitehead (Leonard); and Mya, his furry companion.

A memorial service will be held at 2PM, February 19, 2022 in Sycamore Baptist Church.
