Newsoms – Michael Wayne Brewer, 64, passed away March 17, 2017 at his home. He was a native of Portsmouth and a graduate of Craddock High School and a Coast Guard Veteran. He was a retired electrician with Dominion Power and a member of Newsoms United Methodist church.

Survivors include his wife, Teresa Michelle Brewer, his mother, Ima Jean Brewer, his son, John Vincent Gauthier and his fiance`, Emily Marie Rushing. He was predeceased by his father, Devoyd Liston and a sister, Toni Lynn Brewer.

A memorial service will be held at 6PM Thursday, March 23, 2017 at Newsoms United Methodist Church with the Rev. Ian Hackmann officiating. www.wrightfuneralhome.org
