Carrsville – Matthew James Harrison, 61, passed away peacefully on March 28, 2024 in St. Mary's Hospital in Richmond.  Born in Norfolk, he was a son of the late William Henry Harrison and Nancy Smith Myrick Harrison.   He was also predeceased by Winky Howell, Sr. and Mary Ann Howell who raised him.

Matthew was a 1982 graduate of Windsor High School.  He was a farmer and co-owner of Howell Farms.

Left to cherish his memory is his brother, Winky Howell, Jr. and his wife Patricia, a niece Wendy Howell Flythe and her husband Chris and their children Patrick, Peyton, Ashton, and Caroline.

A Memorial Service will be held at 6PM Thursday, April 4, 2024 in Wright Funeral Home with Pastor Joe Poe officiating.
