Franklin – Mary Alice Wade Cotton, 83, widow of Thomas Redelle Cotton, passed away December 22, 2014. She was a daughter of the late Albert and Ruth Cobb Wade. Mrs. Cotton was a member of Sycamore Baptist Church and was a homemaker.

Left to cherish her memory are two daughters, Nell C. Daughtrey (Charlie), and Teressa C. Beier (Karl); one son, Thomas R. "Dell" Cotton, Jr.; one sister, Ruth Tollefsbol; five grandchildren, Kristopher Beier, Gigi McKay, Jeremy Daughtrey, Anna Cotton, and Wade Cotton; and four great-grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held at 1 PM Saturday, December 27, 2014, at Wright Funeral Home, Franklin with the Rev. Dr. Roger Crump officiating. Burial will follow in Poplar Spring Cemetery.
