Franklin – Mary Ruth Via Bane, 85, widow of John Robert Bane, left to meet the Lord Monday, August 22, 2011. She was born in Pulaski, a daughter of the late Calvin M. and Mattie Chrisley Via and was predeceased by a sister Louise Bradshaw. She was a member of Bethel Assembly of God. Mrs. Bane will be missed, but the family takes comfort in knowing that she is with the Lord.
Left to cherish her memory is her daughter, Pam B. Barden (Roger); two sons, Charles D. Bane, Sr. and John R. Bane, Jr.; six grandchildren, Spring Harris (David), Charles Bane, Jr., Jennifer McCrary (Alan), Sabrina Butler (Brandon), Candy Early (Greg), and Roger Barden, Jr.; eight great-grandchildren, Zoey, Meadow and Ryder Harris, Ethan and Hannah McCrary, Adam and Madison Butler, and Greg Early.
A graveside service will be conducted at 11 am Wednesday at Southampton Memorial Park with the Rev. T. R. King officiating. Wright Funeral Home is assisting the family.
