Mary Nell Johnson Turner, 82, passed away Thursday, October 25, 2012 at the East Pavilion in Franklin,VA. She was a native of Southampton County, a daughter of the late Emmett and Rushie Ritter Johnson, and was predeceased by her first husband, Claiborne Babb, a sister, Carolyn Sweeney and a brother, Emmett Johnson. She was a former employee of Union Camp Corporation and a former member of the Franklin Woman's Club. She is survived by her husband, H. M. (Minnie) Turner; two daughters, Vicki B. Huggins and husband, Graham of Melbourne, Australia and Cindy B. Lynskey and husband, Brian of Orange Park, Florida; one sister, Janet J. Cannan of Houston, TX; one sister-in-law, Betty Johnson, of Jacksonville, Florida; three grandchildren, Amy Wilkinson, Katie O'Brien and Emily Lynskey; one great grandchild, Evelyn O'Brien and several nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be conducted at 11AM, Monday, October 29, 2012 at Southampton Memorial Park conducted by the Rev. Brandon Robbins. The family will receive friends Sunday, from 4-6 PM at Wright Funeral Home, 206 W.
