Suffolk, VA – Mary Annette Napier, 78, passed away on January 13, 2023 in Sentara Obici Hospital.  Born in West Virginia and raised in Portsmouth and Chesapeake, she was a daughter of the late Charles Clifford Napier and Mary Ann Fierbaugh Napier.  She was also predeceased by two sisters, Margaret A. Kania and Helen Patricia Zumbahlen and a brother, Charles Joseph Napier.

Annette was a graduate of Deep Creek High School and attended Old Dominion University.  She was a retired Federal Government Customs Agent in New York City with 30 years of service and she was a former Librarian in Richmond and Norfolk.

Survivors include five sisters, Betty Napier of Florida, Carol Seamster (John) of Chesapeake, Bonnie N. Young (Steve) of Chesapeake, Teresa M. Wilkins (Frederick) of Carrsville and Cathy Midgett of Chesapeake and a host of nieces and nephews.
