Courtland – Mary Helen Lynn Lewis, 92, widow of James Robert Lewis, passed away July 8, 2020 in Accordius Health at Courtland.  Born in Staunton, she was a daughter of the late Richard and Callie Lynn.  Mary was also predeceased by two sons, Albert Butler, Jr. and Edward Butler; a daughter, Jo-Ann Lewis, and seven siblings, Marshall, Raymond, Lewis, James, Sonny, Nellie, and Wilson.

Mary was a member of Black Creek Baptist Church.

Left to cherish her memory are two daughters, Catherine Ann Huddleston (Chris) and Audrey Faye Bradshaw (Wes); three sons, Robert Lewis (Dorothy), Jimmy Lewis (Donna), and Mark Edward Lewis;  a sister, Linda Edwards; fourteen grandchildren; twenty-two great-grandchildren; one great great-grandchild; a daughter-in-law Heidi Butler; and many nieces and nephews.

A Graveside Service will be held at 11 AM Monday, July 13, 2020 at Black Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.  The family suggests that memorial donations be made to Courtland Vol. Fire Dept. or Courtland Rescue Squad.
