Mrs. Mary Ann Jordan Lane was born October 19, 1940 to the late George Douglas Jordan and Lula Jordan in Gates County NC. She departed this life on August 13, 2020 in Franklin, VA. She was married to the late Roosevelt Lane, Sr. of Gates County, NC.

She is survived by four children and daughters-in-law, James A. Lane and Olivia Jeter Lane, Roosevelt Lane, Jr. and Linda Perry Lane, Barbara A. Lane, William C. Lane and Andrea Lane. Mary has one brother and two sisters. Douglas Jordan, Jr (deceased), Emma Mae Dukes (deceased) and Ester Jordan of Queens, NY. Mary has seven grand kids, Kenneth C. Lane of Japan, Ronald Jeter and Annette Jeter of New York and Jason Jeter of New York, Marvinelle (Keia) Boothe of New Jersey, Susie Perry of New York, Errick J. Lane  and Errika Lane both of Franklin, VA and a host of nieces and nephews and great grand kids.
