Franklin – Mary Piperato Dimsey, 60, passed away August 8, 2011 at her residence. She was born in Newburgh, New York and was predeceased by a son, Phillip James Dimsey and her father, Nicholas A. Piperato. She was a student advisor at J. Sargeant Reynolds Community College and a member of St. Jude's Catholic Church.
Left to cherish her memory is her husband, Richard E. Dimsey, Sr. of Franklin; one daughter, Kathleen D. Guevara and husband, David, of Ashland; one son, Richard E. Dimsey, Jr. and wife, Dawn, of Wallkill, NY; five grandchildren; two sisters, Theresa P. Tragis and Jo Ann Bahr; and one brother, Nicholas Piperato.
The funeral will be conducted at 10:00 am, Saturday, August 13, 2011 at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church in Plattekill, NY with interment to follow in Highland Cemetery in Highland, NY. The family will receive friends from 4 to 8 pm Friday at White & Venuto Funeral Home in Newburgh, NY. Wright Funeral Home is handling local arrangements.
