Franklin – Mary Frances Campbell Best, 92, widow of Harry Lee Best, passed away December 18, 2019 in the East Pavilion.   Born in Marion, South Carolina, she was a daughter of the late Barney C. Campbell and Addie Perritte Brown and was also predeceased by one sister, Barbara C. White; and four brothers, Alfred, Elwood, Bobby, and Carlisle Campbell.  Mary Frances was a member of Bethel Assembly of God.

Left to cherish her memory are three daughters, Yvonne B. Slye (Gerald), Mary Lee B. Garrett (Michael), and Cathy B. Jones (Roger); one sister, Betty C. Holland; nine grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.

A Funeral Service will be held at 1:30 PM Sunday, December 22, 2019 in Wright Funeral Home with Rev. Drew Dunn officiating.  Burial will follow in Southampton Memorial Park.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service and suggest that memorial donations be made to any favorite charity or civic club.  The family would like to thank the staff of the East Pavilion for their loving care.
