Mary Hazel Jenkins

Courtland – Mary Hazel Jenkins, 91, died March 14, 2007 at Courtland Healthcare Center. Born June 9, 1915 in Southampton County, she was a daughter of the late Felix and Rosa Hill Bryant. The Courtland native was a member of Courtland United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Stuart H. Jenkins, daughter, Dr. Mary Stuart Woodburn, sisters, Maude Bryant and Inez Worrell, brothers, George O. Bryant and Harry Bryant.
Survivors include a sister, Ann Jordan of Boykins; two brothers, W.T. Bryant and wife, Mary Elizabeth, of Capron and Stephen Bryant and wife, Betty, of Boykins; three grandchildren, Robert Stuart Woodburn and wife, Heather, Tammy Lee Minnefield and husband, Art, and Robert James Woodburn, II and wife, Jonna; four great-grandchildren, Tiffany Ann Rabaduex ,Melissa Woodburn, Jennifer Woodburn, and Sara Koski and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
A graveside funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday in Riverside Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at Wright Funeral Home, Franklin, and suggest memorials be made to Courtland United Methodist Church, 22416 Main St., Courtland, VA 23837.
