Franklin – Marvin Earl Crumpler, 83, passed away June 20, 2021 in Consulate Healthcare of Windsor.  Born in Isle of Wight County and reared in Southampton County, he was a son of the late Hertford O. Crumpler and Edna Mae Parker Crumpler.  He was also predeceased by a daughter, Vicky Sue Crumpler, two sisters, Martha Womble and Mary Lois Warren, and two brothers, Melvin and Hertford M. "Dobbin" Crumpler.

Marvin was a logger and a member of Burdette Baptist Church.

Left to cherish his memory are three daughters, Vhonda Landes, Rhonda Hill, and Wanda Crumpler; a son, Marvin E. "Gary" Crumpler, Jr.; three sisters, Lillian Gunn, Beatrice Fowler, and Irene Bailey; four grandchildren; and four great grandchildren.

A Funeral Service will be held at 12:30 PM Tuesday, June 22, 2021 in Wright Funeral Home with Rev. Joe Poe officiating.  Burial will follow at the Crumpler Family Cemetery.  The family will receive friends in Wright Funeral Home from 11 to 12 before the service.
