Franklin – Martha Carew Cale Blythe, 96, widow of Mallory B. "M.B." Blythe, Jr., passed away January 16, 2015. Born in Roxebel, NC, she was a daughter of the late Rev. Dancy Cale and Minnie Jilcott Cale. Mrs. Blythe was a member of Bethel Friends Meeting.

Survivors include two sons, Malcolm B. "Mac" Blythe and his wife, Annie Sue, of Franklin and Douglas C. Blythe and his wife, Julie, of Athens, TX; three grandchildren, Delbert Blythe and his wife, Angela, Jason Blythe, Jonna Hawkes and her husband, Matt; seven great-grandchildren, Dillon, Amber, and Winston Blythe, Wesley, Austin, Micah, and Tyler Hawkes.

Funeral services will be held at 2 PM Tuesday, January 20, 2015 at Wright Funeral Home with the Rev. James H. Hyatt, Jr. officiating. Burial will follow at Poplar Spring Cemetery.
