Franklin – Martha Lee Williams Bell, 85, widow of Sheppard C. Bell, Jr., passed away December 16, 2020.  She was a daughter of the late Alfred G. Williams and Robbie Lee Story Williams.

Martha was a 1952 graduate of Franklin High School and retired from ReMax Realty on the Outer Banks.  She was a member of Franklin Baptist Church.

Left to cherish her memory is her son Sheppard Stanley "Stan" Bell and his wife Terry, a sister, Mary Frances "Fran" Hildreth and her husband James, two grandchildren, Sheppard Christopher "Chris" Bell and Elizabeth Johnson "Betsy" Bell, sister-in-law, Peggy Welsh, and a special niece, Katie Martin.

Services and burial will be private.  Memorial donations can be made to Franklin Baptist Church or Southampton Academy.
