Franklin – Marjorie Weed White, 85, widow of Melvin White, died April 1, 2008. Marjorie was born in Farmington, Maine, a daughter of the late Hermann and Irma Sampson Weed, and was a member of the VFW Ladies Auxillary.
Survivors include her daughter, Leanne Benslimane of Franklin, one son, Terrence Knight of Alexandria; a sister, Jane Lizotte; eleven grandchildren; and thirteen great-grandchildren. Mrs. White was predeceased by a son, Dale White.
A graveside funeral will be conducted at 1 pm Friday at Meadowbrook Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Raymond Allen officiating. The family will receive friends today (Thursday) from 7 to 8:30 pm at Wright Funeral Home. www.wrightfuneralhome.org
