Zuni – Marian Cummings Beale, 83, widow of Lewis Carr Beale, died March 5, 2008. Mrs. Beale was a member of Black Creek Baptist Church.
Survivors include her daughter, Barbara Ann Jones and husband, Danny, of Newport News; three sons, Lewis John Beale and wife, Kathryn, and Richard Lee Beale, all of Zuni, Emerson Boyd Beale and wife, Renee, of Newport News; one sister, Connie Stone of Ohio; five grandchildren, Lewis J. Beale, Jr., Sue Ann Beale, Heidi Ann Beale, Daniel Jones, Travis Jones; and one great-granddaughter, Rachel Goy.
The funeral will be conducted at 1 pm Saturday at Wright Funeral Home, Franklin, with the Rev. Howard Vinson, Jr. officiating. Burial will follow in Black Creek Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday from 7 to 8:30 pm at the funeral home and suggests memorials be made to a favorite charity.
